How about those who feel they’ve invested so much in a particular project and they just weary themselves out daily even when they ain’t seeing results. Things don’t work that way. Sometimes you have to lose to gain and move forward just like I changed the needle.
Those who profess to be infallible are the ones you should fear the most. In a bid to prove how right they are, they will go to any length. They don’t care whose ox is gored.
You are not one of such. Welcome criticism and correction alike.
The most important lesson I have learned from this practice is that when we pray for others to change, sometimes, God changes them. Other times, he changes our ability to notice or bear it.
Then there are times heaven is more interested in something else.
A lot of us find it difficult to go for the unknown because of comfort. We want a change but we are too comfortable with the familiar.
The problem though is that the familiar is often the burial place of potential.
Does the eyes truly see what the heart wants to see? Is there a link between our expectations and our reality? Is the concept of mind over matter real?
Sometimes, they wanted to be so next to each other, I would expect them to merge into one. Other times, they’ll be at each other’s throat and I’ll have to be the buffer, to prevent them from exchanging punches.
The same man who asks you not to judge him stealing company’s money would condemn you for sleeping with your neighbors daughter, while your female friend sees nothing wrong with gossiping but everything wrong with abortion.
These are the times of fast foods and slow digestion; tall men, but short character; steep in profits, but shallow relationships.
These are days of quick trips, disposable diapers, cartridge living, thow-away morality, one-night stands, overweight bodies and pills that do everything.
Habit is defined as an action done on a regular basis.
It can also be described as an action performed repeatedly and automatically, usually without awareness.
