The most important lesson I have learned from this practice is that when we pray for others to change, sometimes, God changes them. Other times, he changes our ability to notice or bear it.
Then there are times heaven is more interested in something else.
As the underdog, you need to understand why people support you. Investors expect a return on investment. But at least, they have put their money, or time, or other resources where their mouth is.
It is like wanting to touch the fire because you don’t trust other’s account of how hot it is. Or trying to taste every food to know which is sweet and which is not.
At the end of the day, you would eventually learn your lessons, but how long will it take? More importantly, what would it cost you to learn?
