Who You Epp – Olamide × Wande Coal × Phyno (Song Of The Day)

At this point, it must be acknowledged that Olamide is great at making hits and albums. “Who You Epp” is not an exception.

Employing the talent of Nigerian king of hooks, Wande Coal, and the second king of Two Kings fame, Phyno, Olamide creates a song that challenges those who love to take credit for others greatness and accomplishments.

2020 with all of its travails is coming to an end. As the final month of 2020 begins, some people have begun making a list of those they owe appreciation to. Others are preparing their annual customarily list of those they intend to cut off in the new year.
Another batch of people are listing out those who they feel failed to help them this year. In other years, I would have indulged and ignored them, but this year, I just must comment on this.

Those who failed to help you this year, don’t you think they must have had their own situations that needed sorting out? You saw then buy a car, change apartment or get married, you believe they should have cut down on that and helped you instead.

After waiting, saving, and sacrificing all these years, despite the pandemic, this was the year things finally aligned for them to make the next move, and you in good conscience expected them to put it all on hold just to ensure your comfort?

Before going ahead with that list of those who let you down this year, you should make a list of those you lifted, those you helped, and those that will be thanking God because of you this year.

It is easy to point out how others could have been of service to you while ignoring how you could have served others. We point out cuts and sacrifices people can make to help us out, but justify closing our own purse and wallets when others need a few thousand.

Before you start talking about how next year, it is all man for himself, I need to ask you, this 2020, Who You Epp?
